Three o'clock in the morning on the game clock. When the clock hits 3:00AM, the sky goes dark and creepy stuff starts happening. With the "Overseer Overload" headset, the doors open and close by themselves and you hear scary sounds.
"Away From Keyboard." A player who's online but isn't actually in front of the screen. Their avatar just stands frozen in the middle of wherever, scaring everyone without even knowing it.
A secret organization from the Brookhaven lore. Founded by Greed, its goal is "total power" over the town. They've got double agents, hidden rooms all over the map, and the password to their panels is "Marcus Brookhaven."
Setting a fire on purpose. In Brookhaven, it's when a player lights a house on fire on purpose instead of by accident. Wind uses the word to say firefighters shouldn't start fires just so they have something to put out.
Roblox's default avatar. Brown hair, blue shirt, gray pants. New players who haven't customized their character yet wear it. People sometimes use it as an insult, but a bacon can be the best player on the server.
A stylish female avatar. Trendy clothes, careful accessories. A popular look among experienced players.
Kicking a player out of your house. The message "You have been banned from this property" pops up and the avatar goes flying onto the sidewalk. Only the owner can ban, and they can't ban family members.
The most famous exploit in Brookhaven history. You'd put a Sleeping Bag against a wall, lie down, and when you stood up you were on the other side. It let you get into locked houses, banks, police stations... anywhere. The developers patched it, but players still remember it fondly.
A drink in the game. The virtual version of a soda. When a customer orders something that isn't in the inventory, Bloxaide is the answer.
The classic Roblox drink. It shows up in pretty much every game as a reference.
A mysterious book connected to the Agency lore. You find it in the hospital and can carry it to the museum. When you place it in the empty display case, red smoke appears and Greed's soul shows up.
A radio you pull out from the Play inventory. You take it out, pick a song, and it plays for everyone nearby. People use it for tiny concerts, for music at parties, or to troll everyone with viral TikTok songs at max volume.
A restaurant in the game, near spawn. It doesn't have official waiters or a menu — it's all roleplay. If you want to be a waiter, you just walk in and act like one.
An explosive from the inventory. You can stick it anywhere and set it off. There's a bang, the screen shakes, and smoke comes out, but nothing actually breaks. It's just a visual effect. The house stays in one piece. Super popular for cops-and-robbers roleplay... and for scaring the neighbor.
A move that lets you carry another player on your back. Really handy for firefighter rescues, medical emergencies, or hauling a runaway baby back to daycare.
A secret hideout tucked behind Starbrooks Coffee. To get there you go through a back door, a fake wall near the Post Office, down some stairs, and flip a hidden switch. Inside there are weapons and bombs for heist roleplay.
A flashlight from the Play inventory. It lights up whatever you point it at. A must-have for 3AM challenges and for exploring the dark parts of the map. It also works as a fake doctor or cop prop.
A permanent purchase inside the game using Robux. It unlocks things like premium houses, helicopters, car effects, or VIP that skips the waiting times.
"Good Game." What you type when something went well. Two letters that mean respect.
A game bug you can take advantage of. Some are funny (getting stuck inside a wall), some are useful (passing through stuff), and some get patched but people keep trying them anyway.
The creator of the Agency, dead for a long time now. His soul is trapped in the cemetery, inside a coffin with the Agency logo on it. His grave reads "LET ME OUT, NOW!"
A guitar from the Play inventory. You pull it out and a pre-recorded song plays. It's the go-to item for musician or concert RP. There are acoustic and electric models.
Loss. A defeat. Something that went wrong. "That's an L" means "that's a fail."
When the game runs slow because of connection problems. Your avatar freezes, everyone else moves in jerky little jumps, and everything you do takes three seconds to actually happen.
Locking your house's door. The first thing you do when you don't want visitors. In Brookhaven, walking into someone's house without an invite is one of the worst things you can do.
What everybody does in a game because it works. The best strategy. In Brookhaven, "the meta" is rags-to-riches RP: you pick the crummiest house, you work, and you climb up. Not because the game tells you to, but because everybody does it.
A bag of money from the inventory. It's worth nothing in Brookhaven — you can't spend it or trade it. But it works as a roleplay tip. Someone leaves a Money Bag on your table and, even though it does nothing, it makes you smile.
A new player. The one who just showed up and doesn't know how anything works. Everyone was a noob once. Some people use it as an insult, but the best players remember they were noobs too.
"Non-Player Character." A character controlled by the game, not by a person. People also use it for someone who acts without thinking: "he's such an NPC."
"Online Daters." Players who "date" inside the game, like boyfriend and girlfriend but on Roblox. They type stuff like "I love you babe" in the chat. The community really frowns on it, but the rule is simple: don't do it, and don't bother the people who do.
A phone from the General inventory. It works as a camera for recording games, for calling other players, and as an RP accessory. Lots of players carry it in their hand the whole time even when they're not using it.
The lot where your house pops up when you pick it from the menu. There are plots spread across the three neighborhoods on the map.
An item from the inventory you can place in the world. There's all kinds: food, tools, weapons, instruments, drinks. They're the backbone of roleplay — no props, no restaurant, no hospital, no daycare.
The real currency of Roblox. You buy it with real money and use it for gamepasses, accessories, and premium items. "Free Robux" isn't a thing — if someone offers it to you, it's a scam.
Acting out a part. The whole point of Brookhaven. There are no missions, no objectives, no points. You decide who you are and what you do. You can be a cop, a firefighter, a doctor, a robber, a waiter, a teacher, or just go for a walk. The game is whatever you make of it.
A trick to rip you off. On Roblox, the most common scams are fake links promising free Robux, people pretending to be admins to ask for passwords, and brand-new accounts that DM you with offers that are way too good to be true.
A world where you play with other players. Brookhaven has public servers (anyone can join) and private ones (invite only). Each server has a maximum number of players.
A viral phrase among kids and teens. It comes from "Doot Doot (6 7)", a 2025 song by the rapper Skrilla, and blew up on TikTok and Roblox through basketball videos. You shout it when you walk into a place, when you do something epic, or just because. It doesn't mean anything specific — it's pure energy. If you hear someone yell "SIX SEVEN!!!!" on a server, they're hyped.
A sleeping bag from the Play inventory. You drop it on the ground and lie down: your avatar falls asleep. It was the item behind the famous bed glitch (see that entry). These days people use it for sleepovers and as a "resting" prop in RP.
A male tryhard avatar. Tall, skinny, dark clothes, blank face. A popular look among players who take things super seriously.
The spot where you appear when you join the server. In Brookhaven it's in Downtown, next to the subway and the motel.
A spray can from the Play inventory. You use it to paint letters on a wall. Whatever you write stays there until somebody erases it. Players use it to sign their house, mark their turf, or announce events ("CONCERT TONIGHT").
A coffee shop in the game. A parody of Starbucks. The most important thing isn't the coffee — it's that the back door leads into the Criminal Base.
A Roblox face with the mouth sewn shut. A really popular accessory that's part of the slender look.
"Suspicious." Something fishy. "That link is sus" means something doesn't seem right.
A player who tries way too hard. Takes everything seriously when everyone else is just chilling.
"Thank you" / "Thank you so much." Two little words that mean the roleplay worked.
Win. A victory. Something that went well. "That's a W" means "that's a success."
