Find the Dumpling Glossary for Parents

AFK #

"Away From Keyboard." A player who's logged in but isn't actually at the screen. Their dumpling just stands there in the middle of spawn, not moving, usually right where it's most in the way.

Social

Alien Dumpling #

A three-eyed dumpling that lives on the other side of a green portal, in the castle. You need the green key to get there. Worth it, though: three eyes are three eyes.

Dumplings & items

Bat Dumpling #

A bat dumpling, mythic rarity. It's stuck to the ceiling of a hidden cave up in the mountain, behind a black portal. If you catch the low gravity event, jumping up to it is way easier.

Dumplings & items

Biome #

Each area of the map, with its own look and its own dumplings. Find the Dumpling has a bunch: spawn, candy island, the mountain cave, the desert, the castle, the cherry blossom island, the sky island, and the maze cave. Switching biomes is like switching worlds.

Gameplay

Blue Glitter Dumpling #

A shiny blue dumpling, one of the secrets. It's in the cave behind the mountain's black portal, at the end of a long parkour. Pretty bright for something that hidden.

Dumplings & items

Bronze Dumpling #

A bronze dumpling. Of the metal ones (along with the silver and the gold), it's the least rare, but collecting all three in a row feels great.

Dumplings & items

Candy Island #

The candy biome. Donuts, sweets, a lighthouse, a rainbow river that flows uphill, and a waterfall that looks like a wall but you can walk right through. Sweet on the outside, secrets on the inside.

Gameplay

Cherry Blossom #

A floating island with pink-flowered trees (the Japanese cherry kind). Hidden in the grass is the Tiny Dumpling, which is tiny. You have to look really close.

Gameplay

Clicks (clicks remaining) #

Some dumplings are locked inside a rock or a block that only breaks if you click on it. The game shows you how many are left: "CLICKS REMAINING: 1500." Yes, fifteen hundred. Yes, your finger hurts. It goes faster if a few of you click at once.

Gameplay

Code (67482) #

At spawn there's a locked house with a panel of five colored buttons. Hidden around the map are five numbers, one of each color: red 6, blue 7, green 4, purple 8, yellow 2. Round them all up and punch in **67482**, and the house opens — and inside is the Supernova.

Gameplay

Desert #

A biome of sand, heat, and dust. It's got a sandcastle, cacti, an X marked on the ground (the fossil one), and an obby with platforms that copy you: if you don't match the move right, you fall.

Gameplay

Dumpling #

The creature of the game. A soft little dumpling (squishy) with a face, like a dim sum with a personality. There are 143 different ones, each with its own name and hiding spot, and the goal is to find them all. People also call them squishies.

Gameplay

Dumplog #

The game's collection book. It's the list of all 143 dumplings: it marks which ones you've got, how many you're missing, their rarity, and some cryptic hints for the ones giving you trouble. It's the treasure map and the shopping list rolled into one. (Yes, the name is a goofy little pun.)

Gameplay

Easy #

The easiest tier. Dumplings that are right out in the open, almost always at spawn. The first ones you grab without even trying. Everybody starts here.

Gameplay

Fossil Dumpling #

A skeleton dumpling, mythic rarity. It's buried at an X in the desert and only shows up if you dig it out with the shovel. No shovel, and the X does absolutely nothing.

Dumplings & items

Galaxy Dumpling #

A dumpling that looks like a galaxy, mythic. It lives in the green portal cave, next to the Alien. It glows like a chunk of outer space.

Dumplings & items

GG #

"Good Game." What you type when something goes right: a secret drops, the rock finally breaks on click fifteen hundred, somebody finds the portal. Two letters for "well played."

Social

Ghost Dumpling #

A ghost dumpling, white on a white wall, basically invisible. There are **two** different ones in the maze cave, and finding them is some of the hardest stuff in the game. If you're not looking for it, you won't see it.

Dumplings & items

Glitch #

A bug in the game you can use to your advantage. Like sneaking straight to the top to skip the 17-minute timer, or walking through a wall that shouldn't let you. Sometimes they patch them, sometimes they're still there.

Technical

Glitter Dumpling #

A glittery dumpling, kept in a chest inside the cave. It sparkles like crazy. There are a few glitter versions (golden, blue, pink), all rare and all gorgeous.

Dumplings & items

Golden Glitter Dumpling #

A gold glittery dumpling, one of the secrets. It's on a super-high ledge on the mountain, on top of a crashed plane, at the end of a parkour with invisible platforms. One of the hardest to get.

Dumplings & items

Group Dumpling #

A special dumpling you only unlock by joining the game's Roblox group. It's not on the map: it pops up in your dumplog when you hit "join group" in the menu. It counts toward the 143.

Dumplings & items

Hard #

The medium-high difficulty tier. Dumplings in timed areas, parkours, or places you have to climb to. They don't hand these ones to you anymore.

Gameplay

Insane #

A really tough tier. Tricky obbys, deep caves, or long waits. This is where gems like the Ruby live. Land an insane one and go ahead and brag.

Gameplay

Key (red / green) #

Physical items in your inventory that open specific portals. The **red** one is in the castle and opens the cage of the Angry Dumpling. The **green** one is in the candy island lighthouse and opens the green portal to the Alien and the Galaxy. Every player needs their own key.

Dumplings & items

L #

"Loss." A defeat or a flub. Falling off the parkour on the very last platform is a textbook L. The opposite of a W.

Social

Like Dumpling #

Like the Group Dumpling, but the other way around: you unlock it by giving the game a "like" on Roblox. It's behind a sign near spawn and shows up in your dumplog when you tap the heart. Free and fast.

Dumplings & items

Low Gravity Event #

An event that pops up every now and then: for a little while, everybody jumps way higher. It's announced with a countdown. It's the perfect moment to do impossible parkours, like the one for the Bat Dumpling.

Events

Maze Cave #

The cave under the main house. Purple hallways, darkness on purpose, and two different Ghost Dumplings that look like the same wall. It's super easy to get lost; that's why there's a spawn button to bail out.

Gameplay

Medium #

The kinda-normal difficulty tier. Dumplings that take a little exploring, a little climbing, or a closer look. One small step up from easy.

Gameplay

Mining Dumpling #

A miner dumpling from the mountain, insane. It's inside a block that breaks with clicks... a lot of clicks. Bring patience (and friends to click along with you).

Dumplings & items

Mountain Cave #

A vertical biome full of rock, mines, and hidden caves. This is where the Ruby lives (behind the 17-minute timer), plus the metal dumplings and a couple of secret portals. Climbing wears you out, but there's a prize up top.

Gameplay

Mythic #

A super high tier, almost always in purple. Dumplings that need a special item or a really hidden area: the Fossil (with the shovel), the Galaxy, the Bat... Having a single mythic in your dumplog is already a brag.

Gameplay

Noob #

A new player, the one who just joined and has no clue where to even start. We've all been noobs (Noobsi wears the name proudly). In this game it's no big deal: here you explore at your own pace.

Social

OP #

"Overpowered." Something that's way too strong or way too good. A rainbow carpet that saves you the whole parkour is OP. A shortcut that's basically cheating, also OP.

Social

Portal #

A hole that takes you from one area to another. There are green ones (need the green key), black ones (hidden in the mountain), and a few disguised as a circle painted on the rock. Going through one almost always leads to something weird and good.

Gameplay

Rainbow Carpet #

A flying carpet you buy in the shop with coins. You use it to fly and skip whole parkours. Buying it halfway through the obby, while everyone else is still jumping, is a move that's a little bit cheating and a little bit genius.

Dumplings & items

Ranking #

At spawn, floating above the players, you can see who's got the most dumplings. And above the ranking sign hides — of course — the Ranking Dumpling.

Gameplay

RP #

"Roleplay." Acting out a part inside the game. In Find the Dumpling it isn't the main thing (this is about hunting dumplings), but there's always somebody who decides they're an explorer or a dumpling detective.

Social

Ruby Dumpling #

A ruby dumpling, insane rarity. It's in a chest in the mountain cave, behind a door that only opens every **17 minutes**. Show up late and you wait a whole nother round.

Dumplings & items

Sand Dumpling #

A sand dumpling from the desert, mythic. It blends right into the ground, so it goes unnoticed until you're standing directly on top of it.

Dumplings & items

Secret #

The top tier, the rarest of them all. Gold or iridescent, hidden in the most impossible corners: the Supernova, the Golden, the Tiny, the Troll, the Rainbow, the Glitters. Getting a secret is the best feeling in the game.

Gameplay

Shovel #

A tool hidden near a tree at spawn. Once you've got it, you can dig at the X in the desert and pull out the Fossil Dumpling. It's the easiest item in the game to walk right past.

Dumplings & items

Sky Island #

A biome floating up in the sky, reached by rainbow paths from candy island. Up there are the Cloud Dumpling, the Rainbow, and the dreaded Troll Obby. The views are top tier; the floor, not so much.

Gameplay

Slapper (Slap Hand) #

A giant hand you buy from the cat NPC for about 3000 coins. You use it to whack other players: the hand comes down, goes *PAF*, and the other guy flies three meters. It doesn't actually hurt anyone, but it's super satisfying against a troll.

Combat

Spawn #

The place you appear when you join the game. It's the starting biome: the fountain, the shop, the code house, the ranking sign, and a ton of easy dumplings to start filling your dumplog.

Gameplay

Supernova Dumpling #

A star dumpling, secret, and the secret almost everybody gets first. It's inside the locked house at spawn, the one that opens with the code **67482**. Rounding up the five numbers is half the adventure.

Dumplings & items

Tier #

A dumpling's rarity level. From easiest to rarest: easy, medium, hard, insane, mythic, and secret. The dumplog sorts the dumplings by tier so you know what you're getting into.

Gameplay

Timer (17 minutes) #

The countdown on the stone door in the mountain cave. The wall only sinks every 17 minutes to let you reach the Ruby chest. Either you wait it out (chatting, exploring), or you find a glitch to skip it.

Gameplay

Tiny Dumpling #

A tiny dumpling, secret. So small it gets lost in the grass, near the cherry blossom trees. You have to stick the camera right down to the ground to spot it.

Dumplings & items

Token #

A special coin (different from regular coins) that powers the annoying abilities: **freeze** (freeze other players) and **kick** (boot them out of the lobby). Trolls use them to freeze half the room.

Dumplings & items

Troll Dumpling #

A troll dumpling, secret, the prize at the end of the sky island's Troll Obby. The platforms are completely invisible: you have to guess where to step using the camera or by following somebody who knows the way. The game's last big challenge.

Dumplings & items

Troll Obby #

The final parkour, with platforms you can't see. Steps into thin air all the way to the Troll Dumpling. Pure patience and a lot of trial and error. Streamers compare it to Squid Game.

Gameplay

W #

"Win." A victory. Finding a secret, breaking the rock on the last click, or crossing the Troll Obby without falling: that's a huge W.

Social

Wall-clip (walking through walls) #

Some walls and waterfalls in the game aren't solid: they look like a wall, but you can walk right through. It's the key to finding secret caves, especially the candy island waterfall. If a wall gives you a funny feeling, try walking through it.
