Noobsi in Steal An Egg: a Roblox book for kids

Noobsi in Steal An Egg: 25 bedtime stories about stealing eggs from Roblox guardians and getting them home, for kids aged 8 to 11. With a glossary for parents

· by Noobsi

Noobsi in Steal An Egg is the fourth book in the Noobsi Bedtime series: 25 bedtime stories set in a Roblox game where you steal eggs from sleeping guardians and have to run them all the way home. It’s written for kids aged 8 to 11 and is out now in English and Spanish, as a paperback and an eBook.

Stealing the egg is the easy part

The button says Steal, and the chicken is asleep. Noobsi doesn’t need any more information.

He presses it, the egg appears in his hands, and he types “FIRST EGG” in the chat before taking a single step. The chicken opens its eyes. A few seconds later the chicken has caught him, the egg is in the grass, and RocVibabot, who saw the whole thing, types one word: “zigzag”.

That’s the book in one scene. In Steal An Egg, grabbing the egg isn’t the hard part. Getting back with it is. Until you cross the safe line, the egg isn’t yours: the guardian is chasing you, big eggs are so heavy you can barely walk, there are traps right in front of the finish, and someone with a bat always shows up.

What happens in the book

The 25 stories come in three parts, and each one works on its own.

Stealing is the easy part (Stories 1 to 8). The first egg, the night when everything grows thirty times faster, a giant egg Noobsi is sure is Secret that turns out to be the most ordinary dog in the game, and torrents, who joins for the first time and asks how you walk.

The way back (Stories 9 to 16). An egg so heavy it has to be carried in stages, an alert that comes too late because Martig521 won’t stop talking about a rock shaped like a potato, the Fuse Machine with nomaraccion, and an egg the whole server ends up fighting over.

Luck doesn’t listen (Stories 17 to 25). The Sakura tree that blooms for five minutes, a 150% charge that guarantees nothing, a gift that’s too good to be true, the only Dragon’s Egg on the server, and one last egg before logging off that is never really the last.

Two stories worth slowing down for

In Story 9, “Three Stages, One Egg”, Noobsi steals the heaviest egg he has ever seen in Abyss Ocean. He can barely move. aranda9001 carries nothing and covers his route the whole way, with the guardian and rival players behind them. At the finish, Noobsi asks him what he wants in return. aranda answers: “nothing”.

In Story 22, “The Impossible Gift”, a stranger offers Noobsi an Eternal pet. All he has to do is leave Roblox and follow some instructions on the stranger’s profile. Marccuiner is already clearing space in the pen. MimyVibabot shows up, reads everything and asks one question: “Where is the gift button?” The stranger can’t answer. Nobody leaves the game.

Who’s in it

The same school friends as always, with a different setup this time: in each story, Noobsi shares the lead with one friend. Roc answers in one word, DaVinci sends fifteen-step plans, jrolomora turns every run into a race, and ChukyProGamer narrates every chase like a live stream. Meet all 14 characters on the Steal An Egg characters page.

For parents

The title sounds a bit alarming, but the stealing is just the game mechanic: the eggs are guarded by computer-controlled creatures and nobody takes anything from another player. The stories are about waiting without losing it, dropping the egg two steps from the line and trying again, and spending sensibly. In one, a friend wants to keep buying random eggs with Robux, and they stop at the one pack they agreed on. And in the impossible gift story, the scam falls apart with a single question, no lecture needed.

You don’t need to know the game. The book ends with a 66-term glossary, and the Steal An Egg glossary on this site explains words like guardian, safe line and Great Bloom. Each story takes about ten minutes to read.
